Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble and St. James Cathedral's youth ensemble, Jubilate, perform Muehleisen's The King of Glory, for treble choir and SATB a cappella choir, as well as Bern Herbolsheimer's Stabat Mater, and the Northwest premiere of Tigran Mansurian's monumental Requiem, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the 1915 Armenian genocide.

Bob Cole Conservatory Chamber Choir (California State University, Long Beach), with guest conductor John Alexander, performs Muehleisen's moving setting of African-American poet, Paul Laurence Dunbar's "When All is Done," originally commissioned by University of Wyoming Concert Choir, conducted by Nicole Lamartine, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the murder of Matthew Shepard.

“Apparitions” – Ladies Musical Club of Seattle’s Northwest Composers Spotlight

The Ladies Musical Club of Seattle presents Northwest Composers Spotlight, featuring Muehleisen's haunting song cycle,  Apparitions, poetry by Walt Whitman. LMC member performers Katie Hochman, soprano; Candice Chin, violin; Julie Shankland, clarinet; and Asta Vaicekonis, piano will perform the cycle. Other composers featured on the concert are Heidi Fivash, Sarah Mattox, Garrett Fisher, Karen P. Thomas, Jeffrey Moidel, and Matthew James Briggs.
